February, 2008 - Atlantic Aero has been awarded a Certificate of Registration, Number CERT-0026411, from the Internal Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001) for our parts manufacturing plant located in Kernersville, NC. The ISO 9001:2000 + AS9100B, aerospace quality system standard, has awarded the Certificate of Registration for the following scope: “Machining, resell and distribution of metal and composite parts for aerospace applications”.

According to Jim Spinder, President of Atlantic Aero, “Our Kernersville Manufacturing Division currently manufactures hundreds of different parts for the aerospace industry. We hold over 50 Supplemental Type Certificates and several Parts Manufacturing Approvals. It is an honor for our Quality Management System to be recognized by the strict guidelines of the ISO organization.”

Atlantic Aero is an aerospace engineering services company, a parts fabrication company and a FAA repair station (#EWGR752D). Atlantic Aero holds numerous Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), Parts Manufacturer Approvals (PMAs) and a certification as an FAA Designated Alteration Station (DAS-511128-CE). Atlantic Aero is also certified with the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA.145.4179.
